Utilizing the typical No-Bo insulator along with suspension yokes provides added stabilization when used with headspans or crossing wire construction. The suspension yoke adaptable location provides the added insurance that insulation between crossing wires remains safe and consistent. Normal operating wire range for the suspension yoke assembly is (0.25 [6.35mm] ~ 0.50 [12.70mm]).
No-Bo Insulators with magnetic arc blowout assemblies are designed to eliminate arcing over in both high voltage and high-speed applications. These units also incorporate the suspension yoke assembly as an alternate source of stability and mounting capability.
The longer version of this No-Bo Insulator may also be fitted with dual magnetic blowout assemblies. With magnetic blowout assemblies located at opposite ends of the No-Bo Insulator, the option of vehicle travel in both directions is allowed without the occurrence of cross arcing.
